But the demonstration got use convinced!
Since it is the warehouse sale, a S$50 off the retail was worth it!
After all, I love to cook but hate to clean up!
And I have a fetish for cool and new household appliances!

The Philips HD9220 Air Fryer

So what is an Air Fryer?

The patented Air Fryer uses Rapid Air Technology.
Hot air is used instead of oil, to do all the work of a deep fat fryer.
No oil needed!
By circulating air up to 200C around foods like chips, chicken, fish or pastries.
Philips claims to be able to fry them perfectly with up to 80% less fat and healthier!

On the face, there is the big timer dial, temperature dial and indicator lights.

The frying tray hangs in the base drawer.
These are essentially the 2 components to clean!

Lets put it to work!
Fry some frozen "Japanese Crispy Chicken"

The results were non-greasy, tender, crispy, juicy Japanese crispy chicken!

Fry the chicken nuggets that Philips gave out free with my purchase.

Fabulously brown chicken nuggets done perfect!

I laid the nuggets on a piece of paper.
Guess what!
NO GREASE STAINS!
Where have all the grease gone?
The grease from the food has dripped onto the drawer base!

The BAD

1. Hard to clean wire mesh. In order to get rid of some food stuck to the mesh, I had to use the green scouring pad. It ends up have strands of the scouring pad tangled and stuck among the mesh.

It is Sunday again! No better way to spend the beautiful, sunny Sunday, with a lovely brunch. I love visiting Hatched at Bukit Timah, which is not too far from home. A short 15 mins ride away to my eggs and coffee!

Omelette and toast

Inside the omelette is strips of juicy steak, peppers and onions. Topped with a slice of cheese.

This is the 3rd time here, still as good as ever!
I will always recommend this lovely place to anyone who wants to escape the city and find a good brunch!

When we first saw the Dyson Air Multiplier™(AM), we were quite convinced that it has revolutionized the conventional bladed fan. With no blades or grill, they’re safe, easy to clean and don’t cause unpleasant buffeting. The Dyson AM easily catches the attention of shoppers who were puzzled and curious of how the ring can actually churn out wind without blades. There are 4 models for the Dyson AMs: Standing, Tall, Table-top 30cm and Table-top 25cm. I guess it is time to score one of these cool AM home. I love the Dyson Air Multipler™ design. It is innovative and chic. The innovative Air Multipler™ technology makes the device easy to maintain as well. No more hassle trying to dismantle the fan grille and blades. The only shortcoming will be the sound generated. It is tad noiser than the conventional plastic or high velocity fans. However, the noise level is subjective. Of course, this cool device comes with a dear price tag. From S$399 for the 25cm table-top version, the standing version costs S$699! Since I am able to use my vouchers to offset the cost, with the rebates and voucher given, I paid only S$101, which I am quite happy with it. All Dyson Air Multipler™ comes with 2 years warranty.
