Nikon D50 body = Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6

Yesterday morning, I received a message.
At night, I traded by beloved D50...

... for a piece of glass.
Not the finest, but if you ask, it sure gives vast room for creativity!

10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM
This ultra-wide angle lens equipped with Super Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements to minimze color abberation and a Hyper-Sonic Motor (HSM) which speeds up AF and operates silently. DC only lens suggests that this lens is designed for DSLR (APS-C) and not recommended for full-frame or 35mm or manual SLR.
This lens works with the latest D40/D40x bodies without an in-camera AF motor.

Hi, just curious. What camera are you using since you sold your D50? Nikon D40x?

I chose D50 over D40.
I will choose D80 or even D200 over D40x.
But with the close price gap between D40x and D80,
why not the latter?
