๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ฌ. This day concludes the #daily10k challenge to clock 10km and 10,000 steps daily. I started the challenge to run at least 10K consecutively everyday in November 2019. After 1500 days I finish the challenge with a weekend 22K Half-Marathon in Tokyo, Japan ๐ฏ๐ต, which is also my first halfie in Japan. There is no better way to complete this challenge in the perfect weather condition with 3 loops around Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. Perfect temperature, chilling sea breeze, adds power to the run to complete this 22K halfie under 2h. This comes after being on my feet for more than 12h in DisneySea and 5h sleep.

To arrive here was not without difficulties. Having to juggle parent commitments everyday, work days, work trips and family trips. Setting aside an hour or two to clock my run has been a priority in my planning. Stiffness on both knees, plantar fasciitis on both feet, ankle sprains, episodes of diarrhea, bladder infection, migraine and fever, two COVID infections, haze and thunderstorms, fogs and snow, were just roadblocks that I overcame.
When there is a will, there is a way.
Mind over the body was the key to keep the streak going.
At ๐ฎ๐ฐ,๐ฌ๐ณ๐ณ.๐ด๐ญ ๐ธ๐บ, that is more than the distance from North pole to South pole, all done in ๐ญ๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐.
