Madrid & Segovia ~ Second Day

The second day at Madrid includes a day trip out to Segovia, a not too distant town filled with a few significant UNESCO monuments. Among them are the Aqueduct, old Cathedral and Real Alcazar. Suckling pigs are a must try in one of the many tapas bars in Segovia. Enjoy a Sangria and lunch under the sun, a Spanish experience not to be missed!
Back in Madrid, a visit to Plaza Mayor, a place where public executions were held in the medieval days. Now the square is filled with restaurants and basking folks.
Every local loves to catch up at Mercado de San Miguel, where everyone enjoys tapas and alcohol.
