Verdict
A nice little restaurant hidden away among the old shophouses in Little India. Never had I expected to find this restaurant opposite Sim Lim Tower. The menu do not really offer plenty of choices, but you get the signature dishes all in.
The prices are above average but luckily the food they serve is well worth the moolah. The Lamb Shank is cooked in such skilful way that you do not feel like you are have kambing soup. The crispy duck confit is not too dry after frying and retain much of the juices.
While I was having my meal at The Black Sheep, I cannot help think of Bistro 103, which served similar dishes at similar prices. If I were to choose between both, to have a getaway-from-the-city dinner, I vote the latter. If you like The Black Sheep Cafe, you will like Bistro 103 as well!
