Hong Kong ~ Dec 2010: Part II

Hong Kong ~ Dec 2010
Part II

Following Part I of this series,
we went around Hong Kong looking for food!

This is Western Market at Sheung Wan.

Sheung Wan is where you can catch turbojets to Macau.

Hyrdofoils.

Up the Mid-Levels Escalator to the Conduit Road and a walk down.

On the way down, I decide to drop by the Zoo.
It is free entry at all time.

Back at Central.

Visit to Wan Chai for some toy shopping.

A visit to the famous "Blue Mansion".

Hong Kong Convention Centre at Wan Chai.

A view from Wan Chai across to Kowloon.

Met up with my bro, who brought us to a new and very popular dessert shop.
I conclude that Hong Kongers simply love to queue.
But this is worth it!
Yakult pudding.

Chocolate pudding that releases piping hot chocolate fudge.

Folded shaved ice.

Breakfast at the most popular and traditional dim sum restaurant.
Lin Heung is also featured in dining TV programmes in Singapore.

A very interesting building that slants to one side.

Some of the local favourite dining stalls in Central.

The best egg tarts in Hong Kong.

Time Square is decorated with Christmas decor designed by famous local toy designer, Michael Lau.

Dinner at Hing Kee at Temple Street.
If you have never been to Hing Kee, you have never been to Hong Kong!
Hing Kee has expanded to many shops along Temple Street, over the year.
The reason is because they serve the best Claypot rice and of course, Fried Oyster Omelette.
The locals love it, so do we!

End of Part II.
To be continued ....
