Currently the No.1 Korean drama and presently broadcasted in the local cable/internet tv channels. As mentioned in earlier posts, here and here, I must get my hands on this great drama series starring Bae Yong Jun. The local version released here comes in two parts and each cost S$29, but I managed to score this complete box set at around S$20 (converted from RMB) from Shanghai, thanks to K.C.. The title named by the Chinese is rather cheesy, "Wang Credited 4 God". -_-

The first episode which tells a brief history of how the god, Hwanwoong, falls love with Saeoh, a human, and gives her the "Joojak" pendant bearing the power of fire which was taken from Kajin. Hwanwoong then taught Saeoh how to use the power of fire, in order to aid him in bringing peace across all lands. They eventually fell in love with each other. Kajin becomes jealous of Saeoh when she gave birth to Hwanwoong's son. Kajin then threw the baby off a cliff. Saeoh, thinking that her son had died, was overcome by grief, misused the power of the "Joojak" pendant and turns into the "Black Joojak" to destroy the world.

After watching the first episode, I was captivated by the incorporation of cool CG cinematics into the film, making every scene so beautiful, which resembles those of Korean made MMOPRGs. Damn cool!
