I have just got poisoned by my buddy, Laurens, into getting myself a "Le Coq Sportif" sling bag on the last day of the warehouse sale at Kaki Bukit.
I had earlier comment on it being pansy, but decided to withdraw whatever I have said! I had always wanted such a sling bag and was looking at "Adidas" or "Puma", but never found a suitable one. I ended up getting neither of the two. The reason for wanting to get such a design with a rectangular and fixed shape, is because I detest flimsy bags with contents that 'go all over the shop'. With a fixed shape, I can be certain that my water bottle will be standing upright at all times!
There were a lot of bags at the warehouse sale. From "Crossing" luggage bags to "Tatanka" haversacks, there are just too many to choose! Though there were not much colours left, I was torn between a "Brazilian" theme and a "Holland" theme. I had preferred the latter, which is more subtle and had a white trademark icon. The "Brazilian" theme one looks rather loud and I was not too sure if it would suit me.
However, after sending an MMS seeking opinion, I scored the "Brazilian" theme for just S$42!
Everything comes mint-in-tissue! I made sure I chose one that does not have any foreign paint stuck to the glossy finish.
SAMBA!! I love my new bag! I love my Le Coq Sportif! By the way, I am not much of a Brazilian supporter during the World Cups!

Left: I had initally wanted to a get a "Crossings" hardcase trolley luggage for Fio for his work trip in two weeks time, but decided that I not make any hasty decisions. The yellow one is a 21-inch (S$59) while the lime one is a 24-inch (S$69).
Right: "Holland" theme (above) and "Brazilian" theme (bottom) sling bags that gave me the dilemma.

anyway, i genuinely didn't realise that it is actually "Tatonka"! I have always thought the name to be the same as the wrestler.
U've a big appetite for shopping! I wonder how u got wind of warehouse sale all over the place. Till now i still hate myself for getting killed by wallet shop @ $48 for the same but diff colour sling bag as urs!
The ultimate winner is RSH. These bags r going at $25.90 now. so pissed!

I agree RSH has been giving the best deals so far, but that also mean that those stuff got little value.... just check out this Merrell shoe which I bought not long ago.

i know it's good deals u grabbed like ur series of pumas n dat merrell. i meant great appetite possibly cos of things u buy that i dont spend on, like ur DVD, toys etc which seem to come in as an entry every few days!
