Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival featuring Landmarks from 8 Countries

I was heading to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple when I came across this high 'fortress wall'. Nope, there isn't a new building, but they have setup a carnival, at the open space beside the temple, in celebration for the upcoming lunar mid-autumn festival. I was lucky to get a preview because the officials were still doing up the finishing touches and will only be open on the next day, Saturday. In the carnival, you will be treated to a spectacular display of lanterns featuring monumental landmarks from 8 countries. Head on down to this lantern extravaganza and celebrate with everyone!

If you love taking pictures of floats and lanterns, this is one night photography opportunity that you should not miss. I only had my compact and really didn't have much 'room' to explore angles. So head on down and snap away!
Do note that there is an admission charge.
