The Original Hock Lam Street Beef Kway Teow is a famous beef kway teow noodle stall that had a history of its own. It had moved to China Street for sometime. The old boss can still be seen in the shop everyday (as if I was there everday!). His daughter was also featured in the papers for giving up her high-paying job to sell beef noodles with her dad. Hence, the beef noodles must be really fantastic!

The kway teow (thick and flat rice noodle) can be eaten along with variety of beef meat, dry or soup style. I had the dry style and the noodle came drenched in thick heavy gravy topped with chinese parsley and peanut dust.
The beef broth was clear, tasty and not too salty.
Definitely a must try for all!
