Tried these Tibetan (西藏) Candies (no relationship to the previous sponser of the Liverpool) from a colleague who just spent some good time on such an adventurous trip.
This so called Milk Candy is a hard candy made of yak milk.
Tastes mildly milky with a tinge of sour, familiar to that of goat's milk.

Beef Candy or aka Chinese Beef Jerky
It tastes just like smoked beef jerky but much drier.
