What you need for proper panel-lining:

Cotton buds

Mix Ronsol (diluent) and enamel paint to an appropiate concentration.
Usually more Ronsol to Enamel.
A good conentration allows smooth running of panel wash in crevices.
Dip brush into paint pool, then gently touch the end of crevice.
The paint will be discharged and run down the crevice via gravity and capillary action.
The Ronsol dries up pretty fast, so need to monitor the concentration of the paint pool.
Excessive stains outside the crevices can be removed by gently brushing it with a cotton bud filled with clean lighter fluid.

This is the diluent you should be looking for.
